What is Vaporizing?

When you smoke your favorite tobacco or herb, you are inhaling many hazardous carcinogens. By burning your blend you are ingesting the entire mass instead of what you want – the active ingredient! Users of medicinal and recreational marijuana are often very surprised to find out that smoking 2-3 marijuana cigarettes is as hazardous to your health as smoking a pack of tobacco cigarettes!

Vaporizing is a God sent to anyone who uses herbs for recreational or medicinal purposes. Vaporizer technology allows you to heat up your herbal blend to the temperature at which your herb’s active ingredient begins to evaporate. This process releases the active ingredient in the form of a smooth thin vapor which is then inhaled by the user.

There are many types of vaporizers available on our SMOKE SHOP that operate in different ways. With a direct inhale vaporizer the user inhales the vapor through a tube that is connected to the heating element chamber. Some vaporizers utilize a glass on glass “Vapor Wand” which you apply to the heating element. Balloon devices will fill up a large bag with your vaporized herb – this is great because vapor does not go bad, you can fill up a Vapor Bag and throw it in the fridge and enjoy it later! How cool is that??

The Benefits of Vaporizing

Health – You don’t need me to tell you that smoking anything is extremely hazardous to your health. The inhalation of carcinogen and burnt matter can lead to emphysema, bronchitis or even lung cancer. It isn’t just tobacco products – indeed smoking anything can lead to these health problems. Marijuana smokers are often very surprised to find out those smoking 2-3 joints is just as harmful to your health as smoking a full pack of tobacco cigarettes. Startling right? Although there are many benefits to using a vaporizer as opposed to traditional herbal smoking, the health aspects should be what really grabs you and shakes you up.
